The Classic Car Collector knows that antique cars are special.  You can buy or sell a classic car online but it can be challenging.  However, you may find auto sales events at classic car conventions and shows.  Some exotic car sales will include classic and antique cars.

You have to go back to the late 1800's for the first US automobile p-aqtten.  It was given to Geroge Selden of Rochester, NY on November 5, 1895.  Druing the patent approval process, several more pople were working on gasoline run cars. Elwood Haynes, Ransom Olds, Charles King and Henry Ford all were producing cars in the 1890's.  That's the beginning of the antique car craze!

Many of these antique cars have unbelievable features and incredible workmanship.  Since the beginning of automobile production, people have been collecting cars.  If you are in the market for an antique car, be sure to research the make and models your are interested in.  Make sure you are looking at authentic parts and proper restoration techniques.

There's not much that is more fun than tooling around in an antique car, especially a convertible, on a Sunday afternoon!
